Ground Control
Cursed is the ground...
The Lord tells us a story
with depth
and deeper meaning
A Parable
Of the Sower.
He proceeds to describe beautifully
The ground upon which the Farmer tosses His seed:
Some is hard
Some is rocky
Some is overridden with weeds
Some is thorny
Some is fertile.
And as I read it,
I think of the Creator’s power
And His fury
And the curse
And I wonder why
The Husbandman forgot
That the first step to successful farming
is repairing the ground.
